7:30 pm LSU (-6 1/2, 48) at Texas A&M - This is indeed sports madness. Last week, the LSU Tigers were favored by nearly two touchdowns at home against Florida and lost 16-10. So, how is it that the Tigers are once again favorites, this time on the road, and against an Aggies team that has been ranked in the top 25 most of the season? Something's not right, and it's likely the Tigers. Don't believe the hype. Road wins in the SEC are difficult to attain. The Tigers have had two road games this season. They lost at Auburn, 18-13, and won at Arkansas, 38-10. The Aggies are 5-1 on home turf.

Rick's Pick: Aggies 30 Tigers 24
12:00 pm NC State at North Carolina (-11, 59) - With a 5-2 mark in the ACC Coastal division, the Tar Heels would need a miracle to capture the title, that miracle coming in the form of a Virginia win at Virginia Tech, a game being played up Tobacco Road with the Hokies being 18-point favorites. Still, this game is an important element to the season for both squads, and expect the Wolfpack to be fired up, needing a win to attain bowl eligibility.
Hard to believe that NC State has only five wins, but they've played one of the toughest schedules in the country. From October 8 through November 5, the Wolfpack played, in order, Notre Dame, Clemson, Louisville, Boston College, and Florida State. After beating Notre Dame, they lost four straight, but the losses, outside of a 54-13 whomping by Louisville were not embarrassments, losing to Clemson in OT by seven, BC by seven and Florida State 24-20. This one spells U-P-S-E-T.

The 10-1 Huskies have tasted defeat just once, a 26-13 loss to USC on November 12. A win here puts them on the cusp of an invitation to the national championship playoff, if they can win the PAC-12 title next week. That's a lot to consider. Should be one of the week's best games, not to be missed, but look for the Cougars to keep it close or spring the upset.

Rick's Pick: Cougars 26 Huskies 24
Coin Flip: Iowa
Rick's Pick: Cornhuskers 21 Hawkeyes 14
Coin Flip: TCU
Rick's Pick: Longhorns 42 Horned Frogs 34
12:00 pm Michigan at Ohio State (-6 1/2, 45 1/2) - Might as well call this the Midwest national title game, as these two may be up against each other in a number of weeks. Both teams are 10-1, both are looking to go to the national championship playoff in January, and they're ranked #2 (Ohio State) and #3 Michigan. How the line came to be nearly a touchdown is unknown, when the game comes up dead even in so many regards. Take the points and start your Saturday college football viewing with a bang.
Coin Flip: Michigan
Rick's Pick: Wolverines 23 Buckeyes 17

12:00 pm Houston (-3 1/2, 61 1/2) at Memphis - The Cougars have run their record to 9-2 and can finish off a fine regular season with a win over 7-4 Memphis, an attainable feat. Houston has one of the best teams in the country, having proven themselves capable of playing with anybody, at any time, under and circumstances. Of note are their wins over Oklahoma (33-23) in the season opener and last week's 36-10 thumping of Louisville. They're as good as it gets.
3:30 pm Washington (-6, 65) at Washington State - Both teams from the Pacific Northwest have had excellent seasons, all of which comes down to this game, the winner going to the PAC-12 Championship next week to face, ostensibly, Colorado, though it could be USC. The Cougars have not garnered the respect of the pollsters, ranked 23rd after last week's 38-24 defeat at Colorado, ending an eight game winning streak.
3:30 pm Nebraska at Iowa (-1 1/2, 40 1/2) - This game has been severely downgraded the past few weeks as neither team has any opportunity to play for the Big Ten championship unless Wisconsin lays an egg against Minnesota, a doubtful outcome. Nebraska appears the better of the two and they can cap off a solid season with their 10th win here.
3:30 pm TCU at Texas (-3, 59 1/2) - Home field is a good spot for the 5-6 Longhorns needing a win to get to a bowl game. The TCU Horned Frogs have been about as predictable as the proverbial kid in the candy shop, so there's no telling what may come out of this contest.
