NFL Week 10 Picks - Late Games
NFL Week 10 Late Games
All times Eastern
4:05 pm Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts (-10 1/2, 43 1/2) - The Colts should have won their 26-24 loss at Pittsburgh last week. Maybe it's finally time for kicker Vinatieri to retire. Their loss left the Colts at 5-3, just 1/2 game behind Houston in the AFC South, so they're far from done.
QB Jacoby Brisett is listed as questionable for Sunday, but Brian Hoyer is ready as backup, if needed. The Dolphins snuck in a home winnower the Jets last week and the odds of winning two straight are simply astronomical. Indy has a good enough defense to shut Miami down and maybe out, so, even if Hoyer is the starter, this still looks like a blowout situation.
Coin Flip: Indianapolis
Prediction: Colts 41 Dolphins 13
The Panthers don't have nearly the defense the Chargers displayed, but they are 5-3 and looking at a wild card, so this is a game they really could use. QB Kyle Allen is 5-1 as a starter. Don't think Carolina can't win at Green Bay. They can.
Coin Flip: Carolina
Prediction: Panthers 28 Packers 27
LA won three straight, lost three straight and has won two in a row, but against lightweights, Atlanta and Cincinnati, but their defense allowed just 10 points in both of those wins. That may be an indication that they've regained their swagger and are on the way to running the table down the stretch. Tough call, but the Rams, coming off a bye, should be about as ready as they can be.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
Prediction: Rams 27 Steelers 20
Minnesota fell apart in the latter stages of their 26-23 loss at Kansas City last week, and they're on the road for a second straight game. This being probably the tightest matchup of the week, one has to figure Dallas will have prepared well, but it's a slim margin at best.
Coin Flip: Minnesota
Prediction: Cowboys 26 Vikings 21
8:15 pm Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers (-6, 46 1/2) - The only undefeated team in the league, the 49ers put in on the line against a fierce rival that's coming off a 40-34 OT win against Tampa Bay.
This is the first meeting of these two NFC West rivals, and while the 'Niners are obviously the team to beat, Seattle is no slouch at 7-2 and needs a win to keep pace in the division, which they surely intend to capture. This game is going to be a lot closer than the line put out by Vegas.
Coin Flip: Seattle
Prediction: Seahawks 31 49ers 28n

Week 10 Early Games
4:25 pm Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers (-4 1/2, 47) - While Carolina gutted out a win over visiting Tennessee last week, 30-20, the Packers were being taken to the cleaners by a heady Chargers' defense, en route to an embarrassing, 26-11, defeat, only their second loss of the season.
4:25 pm Los Angeles Rams (-3 1/2, 44) at Pittsburgh Steelers - Looking dead in the water after a 1-4 start to the season, Pittsburgh has strung together three straight wins and stands at a reasonable 4-4 after squeaking by the Colts last week. This being their their third straight home game, Pittsburgh may be in a sweet spot as they welcome in the Rams.
8:20 pm Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys (-3, 48) - The Cowboys lead the NFC East, but only by 12 game over the Eagles after dismantling the Giants Monday night, 37-18. The Cowboys need to string together some wins, but against the Vikings, that's no easy task.
Monday, November 11
at Bye: Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, New England, Philadelphia, Washington
