New Orleans Saints (-5 1/2, 43 1/2) at Denver Broncos 4:05 pm (Fox) - Without Drew Brees at quarterback, the Saints still have a huge advantage, as Taysom Hill proved last week, leading the Saints to a 24-9 win over Atlanta. Hill provides the extra dimension of speed at the position, making a dangerous offense even more unpredictable.
While Denver's defense is a solid one, they still lag behind the Saints, who are looking at the coveted first week bye (only one team per conference this season) and home field for the playoffs. 4-6 Denver can't afford another loss, but they're really up against it here. New Orleans has won seven straight.
Coin Flip: Denver L
Prediction: Saints 27 Broncos 17 W
San Francisco had lost three straight prior to last week's bye, and their offense is still banged up, with half their offense either out or on IR. LA won't take it easy on them because their road to the playoffs is still a rough one, with two games against Arizona, plus Seattle, New England and the Jets ahead.
Coin Flip: Los Angeles Rams L
Prediction: Rams 31 49ers 14 L
While the Bucs are coming off a 27-24 Monday night loss to the Rams, they are at home, where they have a 3-2 mark, but the Chiefs are 5-0 as road warriors. Kansas City has won two consecutive tight ones, 33-31 over Carolina, and 35-31 last Las Vegas last week. Even though this is a second straight road game for the Chiefs, they are 9-1, and have won five straight, so look out, here they come again.
Coin Flip: Kansas City L
Prediction: Chiefs 34 Buccaneers 27 L
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-8 1/2, 45) 8:20 pm (NBC) - After the Jets and Jags, the Bears have the league's longest losing streak, four straight. A month ago, these guys were 5-1. Now they're 5-5 and looking to stop their slide against the first-place-and-cruising Packers, coming off an overtime loss at Indy. This is the first of two meetings between these NFC North teams. They meet again in week 17.
Aaron Rodgers is playing like an MVP, the Packers are third in the league in scoring, at 30.8 ppg, behind KC and Seattle. The Bears are 31st (19.1). It doesn't matter how good Chicago's defense is. The offense loses games. If Green Bay gets a six to eight-point lead, this one is over.
Coin Flip: Chicago L
Prediction: Packers 31 Bears 19 W
Seattle Seahawks (-5, 50) at Philadelphia Eagles 8:15 pm (ESPN) - Seattle is 7-3 and looking at staying tied with or moving ahead of the Rams, depending on how LA does Sunday against the 49ers. The 3-6-1 Eagles are probably going to be happy there aren't any fans in the stands, because the Philly faithless would be booing these nitwits every play.
If there was ever a team that needed a vaccine against losing, these Eagles are it. The division was being handed to them, with Dallas losing Dak Prescott for the year, the Giants and Washington stumbling around and here they are, losing to the Giants and Cleveland the last two weeks. Pathetic.
Coin Flip: Seattle W
Prediction: Seahawks 31 Eagles 17 W

Week 12 Early Games
San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-7, 45) 4:05 pm (Fox) - Since their bye week, the Rams have topped Seattle, 23-16, and took down the Buccaneers Monday night, 27-24, putting themselves atop the NFC West with a tie-breaker over the Seahawks in hand.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3 1/2, 56) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4:25 pm (CBS) - This should be an interesting game, with future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, slinging against his heir apparent, the brash, youthful, Ptraick Mahomes.
