NFL Week 4 Picks - Late Games
NFL Week 4 Late Games
All times Eastern
New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (-13, 47 1/2) 4:05 pm (Fox) - The Rams split their last two games - both on the road - winning at Philly, 37-19, before losing to the Bills, 35-32, last week. They'll be happy to host the league's second-worst offense as the Giants are averaging just 10.3 points per game. LA can win this either defensively or offensively, or with a healthy combination of both.
No matter what, the Giants look like they need to switch to another league. The teams in this one are too good for them.
Coin Flip: Los Angeles Rams
Prediction: LA Rams 38 NY Giants 13
The 2-1 Patriots are not to be overlooked this season. Their sole loss was a 35-30 defeat at Seattle, which is no crime. They're good enough to upend the Chiefs. Whether they can do it is another question, but expect a close, well-played game between two of the league's best teams.
Coin Flip: Kansas City
Prediction: Chiefs 31 Patriots 27
Buffalo's offense continues to upgrade. Josh Allen is off to a fast start, throwing for 1,038 yards and 10 TDs though three games. Las Vegas came up empty in a 36-20 loss at New England. The offense sputtered against the Patriots' aggressive defense, leading to opportunities for Cam Newton and company. The Bills are red hot and should do more damage to the Las Vegas secondary. Behind the Jets and Houston, the Raiders' 90 points allowed is third-worst in the conference.
Coin Flip: Las Vegas
Prediction: Bills 28 Raiders 21
The Eagles are struggling mightily, but managed a tie with the Bengals last week. Their 0-2-1 record is uninspiring, as is their offense. They've managed to score just 59 points total in three games. Their points for-against differential of -26 pales by comparison to the 49ers' +41. San Francisco also boasts the league's second-best defense. Their 46 points allowed is second only to the Colts' 45.
Coin Flip: Philadelphia
Prediction: 49ers 27 Eagles 12
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (-7 1/2, 58) 8:15 pm (ESPN) - Green Bay has been simply unstoppable thus far in 2020, racking up a league high 122 points despite playing two of those games on the road.
In what appears to be shaping up as the ultimate mismatch, Atlanta's 108 points allowed is the league high. with the added advantage of home field, the Packers should roll to a 4-0 record.
Coin Flip: Green Bay
Prediction: Packers 37 Falcons 27

Week 4 early Games
New England Patriots at Kansas City Chiefs (-7, 53 1/2) 4:25 pm (CBS) - New England rushed for 250 yards against the Raiders last week, but don't expect them to do the same to the Chiefs, who are coming off an impressive, 34-20, win at Baltimore and are 3-0.
Buffalo Bills (-3, 52 1/2) at Las Vegas Raiders 4:25 pm (CBS) - The Bills are 0-3 and leading the AFC East, a position they covet after seeing Tom Brady bolt to the Buccaneers in the off-season. Buffalo's defense was among the league's best last season, and should be just as good, but one wouldn't know it after last week's narrow 35-32 win over the visiting Rams.
Philadelphia Eagles at San Francisco (-6 1/2, 45) 49ers 8:20 pm (NBC) - Expect this line to move as the week progresses. San Fran as an 8-point favorite would not be surprising at all, and they probably will be able to cover it.
