NFL Week 7 Late Games
All times Eastern
Seattle Seahawks (-3 1/2, 55) at Arizona Cardinals 4:05 pm (Fox) - One of just three undefeated teams in the NFL (Steelers, Titans), the Seahawks can achieve some separation from the rest of the division with a road win.
The 4-2 Cardinals might be the best team they've met this season, and, while Russell Wilson is having a banner year, the Seattle defense leaves much to be desired. Kyler Murray can light it up, but the Cards will have to play nearly flawless football to take home the bacon here.
Having come off three straight road games with wins in the last two (Jets, Cowboys), the Cardinals are soaring.
Coin Flip: Seattle
Prediction: Cardinals 27 Seahawks 24
The Chiefs play their second consecutive road game, but looked dominant winning at Buffalo, 26-17, Monday night. Denver's offense is scoring a mere 20 points per game, but the defense is top-notch, giving up just 22 per contest, near the top of the rankings.
Being a divisional contest, look for the Broncos to clamp down defensively and contain the KC offensive weapons for the most part. Any turnovers could turn this into a big upset.
Coin Flip: Denver
Prediction: Chiefs 26 Broncos 20
The Patriots are just 2-3, and don't have the look of a playoff contender while the 49ers have a potentially explosive offense and an obviously sound defense.
Coin Flip: New England
Prediction: 49ers 24 Patriots 20
Coin Flip: Jacksonville
Prediction: Chargers 24 Jaguars 6
Not to take anything away from the Raiders as they were last seen handing the Chiefs a decisive loss, 40-23, their defense isn't quite up to playoff level, though it seems to be capable of improvement.
Being in Las Vegas, this is likely to be a climate appreciated by both teams and the contest should be a close one, as both teams are in the hunt for respective division titles. Under the lights at home on national TV, expect a solid showing that should come down to the final seconds.
Coin Flip: Las Vegas
Prediction: Raiders 30 Buccaneers 27
Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams (-6, 45) 8:15 pm (ESPN) - Coming off a loss at San Francisco, should the Rams be so heavily favored against one of the best defenses in the league?
The 5-1 Bears have a 1/2 game edge on the Packers and have allowed - through six games - 116 points. The Rams are right there, allowing 114.
Since Nick Foles took over as the starting QB, the Bears have allowed 19, 19, and 16 points in their last three. Figure on both teams having trouble scoring, so those 5 1/2 points look pretty juicy.
Coin Flip: Los Angeles Rams
Prediction: Bears 20 Rams 16

Week 7 early Games
Kansas City Chiefs (-9 1/2, 46 1/2) at Denver Broncos 4:25 pm (CBS) - The Broncos played well enough in New England last week to win despite not scoring a touchdown in an 18-12 struggle.
San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots (-2, 43 1/2) 4:25 pm (CBS) - The Patriots are a pretty good football team, but let's face it, Cam Newton is no Tom Brady. The 49ers hit a rough patch the past few weeks but appeared to have gotten past it in their 24-16 win over the Rams.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Los Angeles Chargers (-7 1/2, 49) (CBS) - Off to a 1-5 start, the Jaguars appear to be about as bad as the 3-13 team they fielded in 2019. The Chargers aren't much better at 1-4, but they have plenty of upside and a defense that may keep Jacksonville from finding the end zone for the duration of this bottom-dwellers debacle.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3, 52 1/2) at Las Vegas Raiders 8:20 pm (NBC) - Tampa Bay is emerging as a force with which to reckon, as their 38-10 smashing of Green Bay can attest. Not only is the offense under Brady clicking for nearly 30 points a game (29.8), the defense is allowing an average of just 20.3.

Bye: Indianapolis, Miami, Minnesota, Baltimore
