All times Eastern
Los Angeles Chargers (-3, 45) at Denver Broncos 4:05 pm (CBS) - Telling that the Chargers are favored on the road at Denver, where the Broncos are 0-3. LA QB Justin Herbert got his first pro win last week, topping Jacksonville, 39-29. The other losses for the 2-4 Chargers have been close, losing by five to Caroling and seven at Tampa Bay. They took both Kansas City and New Orleans to overtime, losing both by a field goal.
Despite this being a divisional game, it could result in a blowout performance by the Chargers, who appear to be improving every week.
Coin Flip: Denver
Prediction: Chargers 34 Broncos 17
Chicago's offense should get a boost from the Saints' defense, which is allowing 29 points per game. The Bears give up just 20. Chicago is likely to keep Drew Brees at least partially under control, and they may be able to find some holes in the Saints' secondary.
Coin Flip: Chicago
Prediction: Bears 27 Saints 20
For Seattle, even after their 37-34 loss at Arizona Sunday night, they can retain control of the division with a win, but they have three RBs listed as questionable (Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde, and Travis Homer). Their defense leaves much to be desired, allowing 28.7 ppg, to San Fran's 19.4 (5th overall). 49er defense may dominate.
First meeting of these two this season. They'll see each other again in week 17.
Coin Flip: Seattle
Prediction: 49ers 30 Seahawks 20
Dallas QB, Andy Dalton, is questionable (concussion) and his backups are Ben DiNucci and Garrett Gilbert. Good luck with that.
Like it or not, this game is for first place in the NFC East. Philly has been improving. Dallas has the worst defense in the league, allowing 34.7 points per game. With Dalton at QB, the Cowboys lost to Arizona, 38-10, and lat week at Washington, 25-3.
Coin Flip: Dallas
Prediction: Eagles 27 Cowboys 9
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10 1/2, 46) at New York Giants 8:15 pm (ESPN) - The Giants continue to play close games, but against the Buccaneers, they'll have to be extra disciplined and play their best game of the year.
The Bucs are soaring, winners of five of their last six, the only hiccup a 20-19 Thursday night loss to the Bears in week 5. In the past two weeks, they've steamrolled the Packers, 38-10, and the Raiders, 45-20. Chalk up another win for Brady, Gronk and company.
Coin Flip: Tampa Bay
Prediction: Buccaneers 38 Giants 13

Week 8 early Games
New Orleans Saints (-4, 47) at Chicago Bears 4:25 pm (Fox) - Possibly the toughest call of the week as the Bear got handled by the Rams on Monday night, but return home to host the Saints, who slipped by a determined Carolina squad, 27-24. That's the same Carolina team the Bears topped in week 6, 23-16.
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (-3, 54) 4:25 pm (Fox) - Injuries continue to mount for the 49ers. WR Deebo Samuel and RB Jeff Wilson are both out for this game, and RB Raheem Mostert is on IR. Still, the 'Niners seem capable of just plugging in new faces to fill the voids.
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles (-7 1/2, 43 1/2) 8:20 pm (NBC) - Eagles should really be smelling blood here as the Cowpokes are without two essential elements: a quarterback and a defense. The Eagles are also home for the second straight week and have had additional time off, last seen defeating the Giants, 21-20 on Thursday night.
Monday, November 2
Bye: Arizona, Washington, Jacksonville, Houston
