Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers (-1 1/2, 53) 4:05 pm (Fox) - It's put up or shut up for the Chargers in this divisional affair, as they've fallen to 2-5 and last place in the AFC West after losing on the final play of the game last week, at Denver, 31-30.

The Raiders continue to show signs of life, winning at Cleveland, 16-6, last week, as the defense put on a rare showing. This is Las Vegas' second straight road game, but their 4-3 record puts them in the midst of the playoff hunt. A win here would go a long way towards a wild card as they have little hope of catching the 7-1 Chiefs. They are 3-1 on the road; the Chargers just 1-2 at home.

Coin Flip: Las Vegas

Prediction: Raiders 27 Chargers 23

Miami Dolphins at Arizona Cardinals (-4 1/2, 48) 4:25 pm (CBS) - The Cardinals are 5-2 and the only team that has beaten Seattle this season, so they're pretty solid going forward. Miami, at 4-3, has been the surprise of the season thus far, and with Tua Tagovailoa notching his first NFL win last week (28-17 over the Rams), things are looking up in South Florida as well.

The Dolphins have been winning games outright and covering the spread in their losses fairly consistently and their defense is the league's best, allowing a mere 18.6 points per game. The Cardinals are at 20.9, so they're no slouches either. Maybe this line should have been closer to 3, so the Dolphins look like a choice play.

Coin Flip: Miami

Prediction: Dolphins 23 Cardinals 22

Pittsburgh Steelers (-12 1/2, 47 1/2) at Dallas Cowboys 4:25 pm (CBS) - Ouch. Did somebody say Dallas against the only unbeaten team in the league? Can anybody make a case for the Cowboys, who have an untested QB and the league's worst defense (33.3 ppg)?

Didn't think so.

Coin Flip: Dallas

Prediction: Steelers 38 Cowboys 10

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5, 54 1/2) 8:20 pm (NBC) - Showdown in the NFC South as the winner of this game will hold first place in the division. Tampa Bay leads by 1/2 game at 6-2, but the Saints topped them in week one, in New Orleans, 34-23.

Tampa has improved mightily since that opening week defeat and they're adding wideout Antonio Brown to the mix. New Orleans has been living under a lucky star, winning their last four straight by 6, 3 in OT, 3, and 3 in OT last week at Chicago. Buccaneers are coming off an uninspired 25-23 Monday night win at the Giants. They are 3-0 at home.

Coin Flip: Tampa Bay

Prediction: Buccaneers 34 Saints 24

Monday, November 9

New England Patriots (-7, 42) at New York Jets 8:15 pm (ESPN) - Well, the Jets, they just stink and they don't appear to be getting any better. They have the worse offense in the league, scoring just 11.8 points per outing and the defense is ranked #28, allowing 29.8 per game.

While the Patriots have lost four straight, they should be better than the Jets, but by a touchdown? The 0-8 Jets have lost every game by at least eight points. On the flip side, thePatriots are just 2-5, but their wins have been decisive: 21-11 over Miami and 36-20 over Las Vegas, both at home. This is a must-win situation for them.

Coin Flip: New England

Prediction: Patriots 25 Jets 13

Bye: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia
