Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6, 47) at Carolina Panthers, 4:05 pm (FOX) - In what could be the pick of the week, Tampa Bay took out most of its frustration from losing four straight games to solid opponents - the Ravens, Falcons, Chiefs, and 49ers, the last three by five, six in overtime, and three points - on the hapless Giants, in a 30-7 road victory.

Carolina made strides tying the Chiefs late last week but still losing by a field goal, but Tampa's defense is unlikely to be very forgiving and Baker Mayfield is playing like a man possessed. A win puts the Bucs at 6-6, and an Atlanta loss would have them tied for the division lead.

Coin Flip: Carolina

Fearless Rick's Pick: Buccaneers 31 Panthers 17

Los Angeles Rams (-2.5, 49) at New Orleans Saints, 4:05 pm (FOX) - Two teams that appear to be either going nowhere or going to the playoffs by winning their weak division match the 5-6 Rams at the 4-7 Saints.

While Los Angeles is 2-3 in road games, the Saints are an even 3-3 at home, and two of those losses were with Spencer Rattler at QB, not Derek Carr (Tampa Bay, 51-27; Denver, 33-10). After seven straight losses the Saints have won their last two and appear capable of being very streaky.

Coin Flip: New Orleans

Fearless Rick's Pick: Saints 30 Rams 23

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens (-3, 51.5), 4:25 pm (CBS) - This looks to be the best game of the week with both teams running on all cylinders. Baltimore is 8-2 over their last 10 games after an 0-2 start. The Eagles started the season 2-2, but have won seven straight.

Philadelphia won their first 10 games last year before flaming out late, but are well-known for long winning streaks. Baltimore will test them, but the Eagles have more weapons at more positions and are likely to take this game very seriously.

Coin Flip: Baltimore

Fearless Rick's Pick: Eagles 30 Ravens 24

San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills (-7, 44.5), 8:20 pm (NBC) - Buffalo is one of the best three or four teams in the league and equally tough at home, where they've won all five of their starts at Orchard Park.

San Francisco looked pathetic at Green Bay in a 38-10 rout. Brock Purdy is listed as questionable, but how can they win with Christian McCaffrey playing at stall speed? Looks like a Bills blowout.

Coin Flip: San Francisco

Fearless Rick's Pick: Bills 42 49ers 13

Monday, December 2

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos (-5.5, 41.5), 8:15 pm (ESPN) - The Browns took advantage of a tired Pittsburgh team in last Thursday's 24-19 win, but now must travel to meet a fired-up Broncos team on the cusp of playoff contention. James Winston give the Browns some hope.

Bo Nix has been getting the job done for Denver and has them at 7-5 after two straight wins over Atlanta and Las Vegas. A win here gets them to a bye next week, setting up their final four games in good shape.

Coin Flip: Cleveland

Fearless Rick's Pick: Broncos 27 Browns 17
