11 Oklahoma at 4 Alabama (-5.5, 46.5) 3:30 pm (ABC) - The Crimson Tide has answered the call every week since their season-opening loss to Florida State, an early wake-up call that has inspired the team and coaches.

The Sooners are 7-2, with both losses in conference, so, they can’t make the SEC title game, plus, a loss would likely move them out of the top 12 to make the national playoffs. This is a very tough spot, but Oklahoma showed true grit on November 1, topping Tennessee, 33-27, in Knoxville, and has had an extra week to prepare. They should make this one very close.

Coin Flip: Oklahoma

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Crimson Tide 27 Sooners 25

UCF at 6 Texas Tech (-24, 48) 3:30 pm (FOX) - This figures to be a walkover game for the Red Raiders, after their complete domination of BYU last week, a 29-7 rout. Texas Tech needs just a win here and in their season finale at West Virginia for a shot at the conference championship.

UCF has had a tough go in the Big 12, their only win in six tries a 45-13 win at West Virginia. They will be lucky to score on the Red Raiders.

Coin Flip: Texas Tech

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Red Raiders 41 Knights 6

NC State at 15 Miami (-14, 56) 3:30 pm (ESPN) - NC State needs one more win to become bowl eligible, but it’s not going to be easy because they play Florida state next week and close out the regular season against improving North Carolina. An improving squad, the Wolfpack knocked off Georgia Tech last week and won’t go away easy against Miami.

The Hurricanes need desperately to reach the ACC championship game against any of five different schools still eligible, all of which have just one ACC loss while Miami has two (Louisville and SMU). NC State could ruin their plans.

Coin Flip: Miami

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Wolfpack 38 Hurricanes 36

21 Iowa at 17 USC (-6.5, 48.5) 3:30 pm (BTN) - The Trojans have had the schedule fall their way most of the season, as both of their losses - Illinois, 34-32; Notre Dame, 34-24 - have been on the road.

Fortune falls their way again as they catch the Hawkeyes after last week’s 18-16 home loss to Oregon, but Iowa is already bowl eligible and has little to lose here except maybe a better bowl match-up. The Trojans have yet to see a defense as focused as what Iowa will bring.

Coin Flip: Iowa

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Hawkeyes 23 Trojans 19

19 Virginia at Duke (-6, 59.5) 3:30 pm (ESPN2) - Can Duke pull of the impossible and make it to the ACC championship game. The oddsmakers seem to think so, but Virginia may have other plans, especially if Chandler Morris returns at QB.

Coin Flip: Virginia

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Cavaliers 30 Blue Devils 24

Florida at 7 Ole Miss (-11.5, 54) 7:00 pm (ESPN) - The Gators have had more than their share of ups and downs this season, including last week’s disaster at Kentucky, a 38-7 loss. Now they’re on the road again.

Ole Miss has been surprisingly consistent; their only loss was at Georgia, 43-35. A win here leaves only a rivalry match-up with Mississippi State on the 28th for a shot at a national championship.

Coin Flip: Ole Miss

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Rebels 38 Gators 21

UCLA at 1 Ohio State (-31, 47.5) 7:30 pm (NBC) - OK, so UCLA has no shot at a bowl game, as they are 3-6, and this game looks like a pure loss. Are the Bruins capable of losing gracefully, say, by maybe just three touchdowns?

Not much of a chance for that. Indiana whipped them 56-6. This could be worse.

Coin Flip: UCLA

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Buckeyes 45 Bruins 0

10 Texas at 5 Georgia (-6.5, 49) 7:30 pm (ABC) - No doubt, Texas has improved over the course of the season and their defense is one of the best in the country. However, winning between the hedges is very difficult.

This game figures to be quite the contest, as both teams are in position for the national playoffs, and neither would like to be bounced out. A Georgia loss would probably not be a death sentence, while for Texas, a third loss would spell doom for a crack at the big prize. The Longhorns still have Texas A&M on 11/28, so they have to win this game. Count them out, but not by much.

Coin Flip: Georgia

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Bulldogs 24 Longhorns 21
