Cumulative Results: Rick: 64-83-5; Flip: 79-68-5

Saturday, November 22

Rutgers at 1 Ohio State (-32, 51) 12:00 pm (FOX) - The first of many meaningless games, pits the #1 team in the country, Ohio State, against Big Ten bottom feeder, Rutgers, coming off a 35-20 win over Maryland.

Notable losses for the Scarlet Knights include 56-10 vs. Oregon, and 35-13 defeat at Illinois. The Buckeyes look to go 11-0 and 8-0 in conference play. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Coin Flip: Rutgers

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Buckeyes 45 Scarlet Knights 7

22 Missouri at 8 Oklahoma (-6.5, 43) 12:00 pm (ABC) - The Sooners topped Alabama last week in rousing fashion and would surely secure a spot in the CFP with a win.

The Mizzou have tailed off against ranked teams and look to be headed to a decent, though unsubstaintial bowl game.

Coin Flip: Missouri

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Sooners 31 Tigers 17

13 Miami (-18.5, 48.5) at Virginia Tech 12:00 pm (ESPN) - Because they are 4-2 in conference play, Miami needs some people to lose if they hope to reach the ACC championship game.

They will have their opportunity as Georgia Tech and Pitt face off this weekend, and the Hurricanes are at Virginia next week, so they can play themselves in. The danger is looking past the Hokies, but they should be good enough to prevail. Virginia Tech is 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the ACC.

Coin Flip: Miami

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Hurricanes 38 Hokies 14

15 USC at 7 Oregon (-10.5, 59.5) 3:30 pm (CBS) - Both teams are 6-1 in conference play, making this game a playoff for possibly getting into the Big Ten Championship against either Ohio State or Indiana, should either of those two lose a game.

The Trojans have done well to remain in the Top 25 and will challenge the Ducks and possibly win, in one of the few important games this weekend.

Coin Flip: USC

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Trojans 34 Ducks 31

Kentucky at 14 Vanderbilt (-8.5, 55) 3:30 pm (ESPN) - A border war with the advantage to the Commodores, still in range to score a chance at the CFP. Kentucky has just two conference wins, over Auburn, 10-3, and Florida, 38-7, in a huge upset. Both wins have come within the last month and the Wildcats are playing the best football of their season.

Vandy may come in a little tight in a must-win situations for both teams. The Wildcats need one more win for bowl eligibility and they end their season at Louisville. Close call.

Coin Flip: Kentucky

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Wildcats 30 Commodores 28

Arkansas at 17 Texas (-8.5, 59) 3:30 pm (ABC) - Texas did not look particularly impressive in their 35-10 loss at Georgia and with three losses are probably out of the CFP picture.

Razorbacks are 0-6 in SEC play but this is a border affair that will have the Hogs squealing.

Coin Flip: Arkansas

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Longhorns 35 Razorbacks 30
