Week 16 Results: Rick: 7-8-1; Flip: 10-5-1
Cumulative: Rick: 116-119-5; Flip: 127-108-5

Thursday, December 18

Dallas Cowboys (-9, 50.5) at Washington Commanders 1:00 pm - A great rivalry devoid of meaning this season, both teams eliminated fro playoffs.

Just take the points.

Coin Flip: Dallas

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Commanders 23 Cowboys 21

Detroit Lions (-7.5, 43.5) at Minnesota Vikings 4:30 pm - The Vikings self-imploded earlier n the season, but now have won three straight. Meanwhile it’s Detroit collapsing, losing their last two and three of their last four.

The Lions are clinging to very slim hopes of making the post-season. Their chances pretty much went up in smoke last week in a 29-24 loss to the Steelers. They need to win this and win at Chicago next week and for Green Bay to lose to Baltimore on Saturday and next week at Minnesota.

Coin Flip: Minnesota

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Lions 27 Vikings 21

Denver Broncos (-13.5, 36.5) at Kansas City Chiefs 8:15 pm - With Chris Oladokun or Shane Buechele replacing Patrick Mahomes at QB, the Chiefs will be lucky to score at all against one of the league’s best defenses. Denver cannot wrap up the division title with a win as they have already lost once to the Chargers and play them again next week.

Regardless, this is a very meaningful game for Denver. Expect the Broncos to score at least three touchdowns and possibly more.

Coin Flip: Denver

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Broncos 24 Chiefs 6

Saturday, December 27

Houston Texans at Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5, 40) 4:30 pm - Probably the most impactful game of the weekend, both teams have multiple playoff opportunities, from wild cards to division titles.

All things considered, Houston looks absolutely stacked and stoked on defense and that should prove to be the difference-maker.

Coin Flip: Houston

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Texans 24 Chargers 21

Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers (-3, 41) 8:00 pm - This doesn’t seem to be the Ravens’ year. With every opportunity to catch the Steelers in the AFC North, they’ve failed repeatedly. Lamar Jackson is questionable for the start and Derrick Henry has been ineffective when needed the most.

The Packers have been put to the test with losses the past two weeks at Denver and at Chicago. A win and they’re in the playoffs with a possibility for the NFC North crown.

Coin Flip: Green Bay

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Packers 24 Ravens 14
