8:20 pm Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots (-10, 51 1/2) - The Patriots hammered Miami, 38-7, last week, but that may have been a one-off against a team the Pats know and usually handle quite well.
With a minus-6 differential, the Colts have to be the best 1-3 team in the league. They lost by nine to the Bengals, by four at Philadelphia, and last week, suffered a 37-34 OT loss to the Texans. The Colts will be very competitive here and possibly pull off the upset of the week.
Coin Flip: Indianapolis
PREDICTION: Colts 31 Patriots 29
1:00 pm Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3, 57 1/2) - At 1-2-1 after their 26-14 loss to the Ravens Sunday night, the Steelers are in a dangerous zone, pining for Le'Veon Bell's return (supposedly week 7).
Atlanta has the league's leading receiver in Julio Jones, so this game will be fun to watch as Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown will get a fair share of balls thrown his way. A major shoot-out is in the making, with Atlanta's kicker, Matt Bryant, a potential game-winner.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
PREDICTION: Falcons 37 Steelers 34
Baltimore may not be emotionally prepared for their second road game in as may weeks, especially after downing the Steelers Sunday night at Pittsburgh. The Browns lost both meetings with the Ravens last year (heck, they lost every game in 2017), but that was B.M. (Before Mayfield).
Coin Flip: Baltimore
PREDICTION: Browns 24 Ravens 16
After their explosive, 48-17, win at Detroit in their season opener, New York has scored 12, 17, and 12 points in consecutive losses and the turnovers are mounting. Denver's defense stacks up well here.
Coin Flip: NY Jets
PREDICTION: Broncos 31 Jets 17
This could be close or it could be a Green Bay blowout. Either way, the numbers line up well for the Packers.
Coin Flip: Detroit
PREDICTION: Packers 27 Lions 10
Besides the great defense, the Jaguars have plenty of offensive weapons for QB Blake Bortles. KC is one of two undefeated teams heading into week five after winning Monday night, 27-23, at Denver. After this there may be only oneŠ or none.
Coin Flip: Kansas City
PREDICTION: Jaguars 23 Chiefs 20
The 3-1 Bengals stunned Atlanta last week and this is only their second home game, so they'll have only themselves to blame if they don't win. Expect a major statement in Cincinnati.
Coin Flip: Miami
PREDICTION: Bengals 42 Dolphins 17
The Giants are allowing 23.8 points per game, while scoring just 18.3 on average. While their one win was on the road (27-22 at Houston), the Giants were 1-7 in road games last year.
Coin Flip: Carolina
PREDICTION: Panthers 30 Giants 14
The Titans are 2-0 with Marcus Mariota at QB, but both wins were by three points (9-6 at Jacksonville and 26-23 in OT against the Eagles last week). The Bills aren't horrible on defense, allowing 26.5 points per game, but remember, three of their four games have been on the road. The fans will be supportive and QB Josh Allen has desire and ability. Take the Bills in a close call.
Coin Flip: Buffalo
PREDICTION: Bills 20 Titans 17

Sunday, October 7
1:00 pm Baltimore Ravens (-3, 47) at Cleveland Browns - The Browns are much improved with Baker Mayfield as their starting quarterback, but they're still under the gun against division opponents.
1:00 pm Denver Broncos at New York Jets (-1, 42 1/2) - The Jets still have a long way to go with rookie QB Sam Darnold and Denver is hungry for a win after blowing a lead against the Chiefs Monday night.
1:00 pm Green Bay Packers (-1 1/2, 50 1/2) at Detroit Lions - The Lions won both games with the Packers last season, but that was when Aaron Rodgers was on the shelf, so, at 1-3, Detroit is under serious pressure for a win. That's a bad position in which to be against the Packers, who are looking to move up in the division on the idle Bears.
1:00 pm Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs (-3, 48) - Kansas City is getting all the love for their league-leading offense (36.3 ppg), but Jacksonville's defense may be (and is currently) the league's best, allowing 259.3 yards and 14 points per outing.
1:00 pm Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals (-6, 50) - Miami ran smack into a wall in their 38-7 loss at New England last week. Both the offense and defense imploded and it is going to take more than one week to fix what's wrong, especially being on the road for the second straight game.
1:00 pm New York Giants at Carolina Panthers (-7, 44 1/2) - The Giants are in a tailspin and heading to Carolina against a well-rested, 2-1 Panthers team is a recipe for disaster.
1:00 pm Tennessee Titans (-3 1/2, 39) at Buffalo Bills - At 1-3, the Bills look pretty bad, but they've played just one home game so far and they were 6-2 in home games last season, so this may not be as easy as Titans fans are hoping.
