NFL Week 4 Picks - Late Games
NFL Week 4 Late Games
All times Eastern
8:00 pm Tennessee Titans at Chicago Bears (-2 1/2, 33) - Tennessee looked hopeless with Ryan Tannehill behind center last week against the Steelers, and they're likely to get pressure on defense from the Bears. Both teams are 1-2, but give the Bear the edge with Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray behind center.
Coin Flip: Chicago
Prediction: Bears 19 Titans 6
Dallas will feature Cooper Rush and Mike White. Both teams are 2-1, but the Cowboys feature the second-best preseason defense (New England, #1), allowing just 27 points.
Coin Flip: Dallas
Prediction: Cowboys 24 Buccaneers 3
DeShone Kizer has been fairly impressive for the Packers, and he'll play at least the first half. That's a big advantage for Green Bay. Both teams are 1-2 preseason.
Coin Flip: Kansas City
Prediction: Packers 24 Chiefs 13
That something is probably going to be the Houston defense because Blake Bortles will be starting for the Rams, and he's got plenty to prove. The Texans turn to Joe Webb III, as AJ McCarron, the #2 QB, is questionable and may not play at all.
Coin Flip: Los Angeles Rams
Prediction: Rams 28 Texans 14
The Saints will offer Taysom Hill and J.T. Barrett, but New Orleans, at 2-1, appears to be a team just looking to get the regular season underway, whereas the Dolphins, with the same 2-1 record, have a "win now" attitude.
Coin Flip: New Orleans
Prediction: Dolphins 21 Saints 17
#2 QB, Brett Hundley, gives the Cardinals an edge, despite their 1-2 record and many question marks on defense.
Coin Flip: Denver
Prediction: Cardinals 21 Broncos 10
Nick Mullens is good to go at QB for the 'Niners with C.J. Breathard also available. Tyrod Taylor and Cardale Jones are both athletic backups for the Chargers. This could actually become a very exciting contest with the Chargers possibly coming out on top in a close call.
Coin Flip: Los Angles Chargers
Prediction: Chargers 22 49ers 21
The Seahawks, traditionally very tough at home, are 2-1, but may have to lean on Geno Smith, as backup Paxton Lynch is questionable. Big edge to the Raiders.
Coin Flip: Seattle
Prediction: Raiders 31 Seahawks 9

Week 4 early Games
8:00 pm Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys (-5, 33 1/2) - For Tampa, James Winston won't play, Blaine Gabbert is questionable, so Ryan Griffin should take most, if not all, of the snaps.
8:00 pm Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers (-2, 35) - Matt Moore will be the Chiefs' quarterback after Chad Henne came up lame and Patrick Mahomes will play under no circumstance.
8:00 pm Los Angeles Rams at Houston Texans (-2 1/2, 32 1/2) - This game may more resemble a car crash than anything else. The Rams have scored just 23 preseason points, but the Texans have allowed 85, so something's got to give.
8:00 pm Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints (-3 1/2, 37) - Who will we see for Miami? Ryan Fitzpatrick? Josh Rose? Jake Rudock? All three?
9:00 pm Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos (-2, 33) - The 1-3 Broncos haven't won since the Hall of Fame game, and their prospects going forward appear dim. They list only Kevin Hogan on their QB depth chart, so he's the one.
10:00 pm Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers (-4, 33 1/2) - The 49ers are 3-0; the Chargers are 0-3, and, San Fran gets home field for this preseason wrap-up.
10:00 pm Oakland Raiders at Seattle Seahawks (-2 1/2, 33 1/2) - Oakland is 3-0 and their backup QBs - Mike Glennon, Nathan Peterman, and Landry Jones have all been productive.
