Texas A&M @ 21 South Carolina (-7, 51) 3:00 pm (ESPN) - The Gamecocks have put themselves into the CFP bubble with three straight wins (Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma) and a big victory over A&M would not be a surprise.

The Aggies are 1-4 in the SEC and some of the losses have been huge, like the 35-6 thumping at LSU and a 27-6 clubbing at Missouri. South Carolina smells blood.

Coin Flip: Texas A&M

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Gamecocks 35 Aggies 20

5 Alabama @ 14 LSU (-5.5, 52.5) 3:30 pm (ABC) - Huge game between teams already saddled with two losses, meaning the loser of this game probably won’t be in the SEC championship nor the CFP.

LSU is one of the toughest places other than play in the SEC and Alabama has been largely inconsistent this year.

Coin Flip: LSU

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Tigers 27 Crimson Tide 17

23 Oregon @ 12 Ohio State (-7, 46) 3:30 pm (CBS) - At the start of the season, this was a highly-anticipated game, but it lost some of its luster after Ohio State lost QB Julian Sayin for the season and lost last week at USC, 30-18. Nonetheless, the Buckeyes are 4-1 good for second place in the Big Ten.

Oregon has struggled all season. They’re 5-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Ohio State gets a big edge at home at the Horseshoe. If the defense holds up, backup QB Luke Fahey has enough talent around him to get the win.

Coin Flip: Oregon

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Buckeyes 34 Ducks 20

Cincinnati @ 17 Houston (-11.5, 62.5) 3:30 pm (FOX) - The Bearcats started 4-0, but have lost three of their last four, the last one a 49-25 smackdown by Utah. In their previous game, they shocked Texas Tech, 37-24, and may have a problem in Houston.

The Cougars had won four straight before running into Utah, losing 21-13, as the Utes shut down their usually-prolific offense. Houston should get back to scoring in bunches. Houston QB Conner Weigman has tossed 20 TD passes and thrown for more than 2,000 yards. The Cougars are unbeaten at home (4-0).

Coin Flip: Houston

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Cougars 37 Bearcats 20

5 Kentucky @ 13 Tennessee (-6.5, 50.5) 6:15 pm (ESPN) - Surprising Wildcats are 5-1 in SEC play and are looking at a conference championship and inclusion in the CFP. Their lone loss was to Alabama, but they also won back-to-back 35-34 games against South Carolina and LSU.

The Vols can’t afford a third loss, even though those losses were to Texas, 20-17, and at South Carolina, 27-24. They’ve had an extra week to prepare for Kentucky and can be very tough defensively, perhaps the bast in the conference.

Coin Flip: Tennessee

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Volunteers 23 Wildcats 13

1 Miami @ 11 Notre Dame (-7, 57.5) 7:30 pm (NBC) - Top-ranked Miami is just one of two teams in the ACC that are ranked by the CFP. 7-1 Wake Forest is the other, at #16. The Hurricanes survived a scare at North Carolina last week, surviving, 38-35, and now hit the road for the second straight week.

Notre Dame, having lost a big game at BYU on Oct. 17, 28-24, is under pressure to avoid a second loss, having been excluded from the CFP last season due to their light schedule. A win here likely puts them in the CFP as they play Boston College, SMU, and Syracuse to close out the regular season. Surprisingly big spread to cover for a team that still needs to prove itself, but, Miami will be without star receiver Malachi Toney, who is out with a high ankle sprain that will require surgery.

Coin Flip: Notre Dame

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Fighting Irish 31 Hurricanes 28

2 Georgia (-3, 56) @ 10 Ole Miss 7:30 pm (ABC) - Solid matchup between two of the best teams in the country and maybe the best game of the weekend. Ole Miss needs desperately to avoid a third loss, while 5-1 Georgia is on cruise control to the SEC championship and beyond.

The Bulldogs have a knock for winning big games and this one is huge. It may turn out to be one of Georgia’s signature games of the season.

Coin Flip: Ole Miss

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Bulldogs 31 Rebels 18

19 Iowa @ Northwestern (-3, 45) 7:30 pm (FOX) - Both teams have 3-2 conference records, but the Wildcats are favored because they’re 5-0 at home this season. They come off a 34-26 loss at Oregon but haven’t lost two in a row (6-2 overall).

The Hawkeyes shut out Wisconsin last week, 30-0, and still have hope for a shot at the conference championship. The way Iowa is playing defense, it’s hard to see the Wildcats getting in the end zone often.

Coin Flip: Northwestern

Fearless Rick’s Pick: Hawkeyes 24 Wildcats 14
