NFL Preseason Week 4 Picks - Late Games
NFL Preseason Week 4 Late Games
All times Eastern
8:00 pm Buffalo Bills at Chicago Bears (-3, 37) - The Bears are 2-2, the Bills 1-2, and last week's 26-13 flop by rookie QB Josh Allen is likely to get a repeat performance. While Buffalo made the playoffs by a hair last season, they also made many off-season moves which haven't exactly enhanced the offense.
The Bears are 2-2, but their losses have been on the road and very narrow. They lost to Baltimore, 17-16 in the Hall of Fame game, and at Cincinnati by three points the following week. They've won two straight, including their only home game, last week's 27-20 surprise over the Chiefs. They're looking pretty good moving forward.
Coin Flip: Chicago
PREDICTION: Bears 24 Bills 10
The Rams have a significant edge, despite being on the road. Both teams are 2-1.
Coin Flip: New Orleans
PREDICTION: Rams 21 Saints 14
The Vikings certainly will not use all their firepower, but they've proven themselves to be just a little better than the Titans, who are also looking to be playoff=-bound down the road.
Coin Flip: Minnesota
PREDICTION: Vikings 34 Titans 20
Houston's only loss was a 21-20 road defeat at the home of the Rams. Their players have shown much more enthusiasm for preseason, and should win this one going away.
Coin Flip: Dallas
PREDICTION: Texans 26 Cowboys 10
Coin Flip: Green Bay
PREDICTION: Chiefs 17 Packers 13
Coin Flip: Arizona
PREDICTION: Cardinals 28 Broncos 13
Coin Flip: Los Angels Chargers
PREDICTION: 49ers 31 Chargers 17
Until the regular season begins, the Seahawks aren't a good choice.
Coin Flip: Seattle
PREDICTION: Raiders 17 Seahawks 9

Preseason Week 4 early Games
8:00 pm LA Rams at New Orleans Saints (-4, 36 1/2) - The Rams possess some defensive skills, while the Saints once again appear to have a potent offense. However, Drew Brees will be sitting this one out, leaving the quarterbacking to J.T. Barrett IV, and Taysom Hill.
8:00 pm Minnesota Vikings at Tennessee Titans (-1, 35 1/2) - Two quality squads, though the Titans haven't shown much, going 0-3, scoring a total of just 37 points while allowing 70. One would expect them to keep this one relatively close, but the 2-1 Vikings are loaded and becoming a serious contender to take home the trophy this season.
8:00 pm Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans (-4, 34) - The eyes of Texas will be upon this game, even though it's not in Dallas' shrine to pro football. Dallas has looked utterly disinterested and are 0-3 because of it.
8:30 pm Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs (-3 1/2, 37 1/2) - Best game of the weekend, despite many starters sitting it out. Defense should be the order of the day and 3 1/2 points may be a sucker's play, but the 1-2 Chiefs should come away with a win over the 2-1 Packers.
10:00 pm Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals (-3, 35) - Arizona is 3-0 and looking good having retooled during the off-season. Denver is still working out the kinks but has shown plenty of offense (80 points). They've allowed 83, however, which doesn't match up well with the Cardinals, who have allowed 35, tied with the Raiders for second least in the league. Cleveland leads, having given up just 29 points.
10:00 pm LA Chargers at San Francisco 49ers (-3 1/2, 35) - No real trends here except that both teams are 1-2 and the 49ers have lost two straight, both on the road (16-13, at Houston; 23-17 at Indianapolis) Getting back to the Bay may invigorate San Francisco enough to get a victory.
10:00 pm Oakland Raiders at Seattle Seahawks (-3, 35) - Too many distractions have led to Seattle's 0-3 record, while the Raiders have picked it up with a 13-6 win over Green Bay last week.
