8:20 pm Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans (-7 1/2, 44 1/2) - Emerging as one of the teams to beat in the AFC, the Texans, by virtue of their 20-7 victory at Jacksonville, took over the lead in the AFC South and appear unlikely to relinquish that position. The Dolphins pose a threat, though not a great one, having fallen to Detroit at home last week, 32-21.
Houston has won four straight as the combo of Deshaun Watson to DeAndre Hopkins has become one of the more unstoppable connections in the league. The Texans have also stiffened on defense, allowing a combined 37 points in their last three games
Coin Flip: Miami
PREDICTION: Texans 24 Dolphins 7
9:30 am Philadelphia Eagles (-3, 41 1/2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (London, England) - Having scored just 28 points in their last three games (all losses), QB Blake Bortles was benched and the starting QB will be Cody Kessler.
The Eagles are capable of scoring more than the Jags, but their problem is outscoring opponents consistently. At 3-4, only one win was a blowout, the 34-13 beatdown of the Giants two Thursdays ago. Every other game has been decided by six points or less, four of them by four or fewer, including last week's 21-17 loss to Carolina, in which the Eagles gave away a 17-0 lead in the 4th quarter. In a game in which both teams are having issues, the Eagles are probably better suited to rebound.
Coin Flip: Jacksonville
PREDICTION: Eagles 24 Jaguars 14
Baltimore has a statistical advantage, but the Panthers have home field and Cam Newton, who lately has returned to MVP-like performances.
Coin Flip: Carolina
PREDICTION: Panthers 21 Ravens 19
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
PREDICTION: Browns 28 Steelers 25
Denver has lost four straight before rebounding to a massive, 45-10, win at Arizona last Thursday, and the extra time to prep for this game should be of assistance to their defense, but nobody's been able to slow down the Chiefs yet, and now, KC's defense seems to be improving. Kansas City won the first meeting this season in Denver, 27-23, but this one is on their home turf.
Coin Flip: Denver
PREDICTION: Chiefs 38 Broncos 24
Coin Flip: NY Jets
PREDICTION: Bears 35 Jets 13
This is an iffy proposition at best, but home field is a good place to be a Lion.
Coin Flip: Detroit
PREDICTION: Lions 31 Seahawks 27
At 3-3, Tampa Bay is no pushover, and they just ended a three-game losing streak by gutting out a 26-23 win over the Browns. They may not travel well, but their 1-2 road record includes a win at New Orleans and a 34-29 loss at Atlanta.
Coin Flip: Cincinnati
PREDICTION: Buccaneers 30 Bengals 24
How the Giants managed to win at Houston, 27-22, in week three, is a mystery, and maybe they can repeat such wizardry against Washington.
Coin Flip: Redskins
PREDICTION: Giants 21 Redskins 16

1:00 pm Baltimore Ravens (-2, 43) at Carolina Panthers - After their heartbreaking, 24-23, loss to New Orleans on a missed extra point, the Ravens need to regroup on the road against the Panthers, a team that's found its footing and is continuing to chase the Saints in the NFC South. Carolina is 5-2 and they are 3-0 at home. No reason to see any change there.
1:00 pm Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-8, 51) - With the exception of a 38-14 blowout loss to the Rams, the Browns play everybody close, with four games going into overtime this season. Pittsburgh was one of those overtime opponents, the teams finishing in a 21-all tie in week one. If the Browns got eight points in each of their games this season, they've be 6-1 ATS. We'll take those numbers, hopefully, to the bank.
1:00 pm Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (-10, 55) - There's no compelling reason to take a stand against the Chiefs, unless they're playing New England, who handed them their only loss of the season.
1:00 pm New York Jets at Chicago Bears (-7, 45 1/2) - Chicago came within a yard of tying New England last week only to be denied on a Hail Mary as time expired. At 3-3, the Bears are for real, and they should be able to handle the Jets, who have a rookie QB in Sam Darnold and a rash of injuries to offensive players.
1:00 pm Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions (-3, 49 1/2) - In what may be one of the more entertaining games of the week, the Seahawks come off a 27-3 win over Oakland and a bye, while the Lions ride high after back-to-back wins over Green Bay and at Miami. Detroit is pretty good at home, having also beaten the Patriots, 26-24, in week three, but Seattle is not going to be an easy opponent. Seattle's three losses have been by 3, 7, and 3 points, the last one to the Rams, 33-31.
1:00 pm Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals (-4 1/2, 54) - The Bengals looked terrible against the Chiefs, but who hasn't? However, Cincinnati's 45-10 defeat had more to do with their offense imploding than their defense. The Bengals were simply unable to mount solid drives throughout the loss and that lackluster performance may carry over to this game against the dangerous Bucs.
1:00 pm Washington Redskins (NL, NL) at New York Giants - The Redskins just keep winning - they are 4-2 - while the Giants continue to find ways to lose, most recently a 23-20 Monday night loser at Atlanta.
