9:00 pm Stanford (-2 1/2, 57) at Arizona State - The Cardinal has lost two straight and hasn't looked good in either the 38-17 loss to Notre Dame or the 40-21 slaughter by Utah.
The 3-3 Sun Devils should be an easier mark, but their three losses - San Diego St., Washington, Colorado - have each been by seven points and all were road games.
One of these teams is going to hit the "ON" switch, and it's likely to be Arizona State, which holds a statistical advantage on both sides of the ball.
Coin Flip: Arizona State
PREDICTION: Sun Devils 27 Cardinal 21
9:00 pm Colorado State at Boise State (-23 1/2, 62) - After losses to Oklahoma State and San Diego State, the Broncos are riding under the radar presently, but it's conceivable they could sweep their remaining six games and still get into a respectable bowl game.
The 3-4 Rams have been trounced pretty badly by Hawaii, Colorado, Florida and even Illinois State, so they're unlikely to be very competitive here, though they are coming off two straight wins. Last season, Boise won in OT, 59-52, so this could be closer than the line is suggesting.
Coin Flip: Colorado State
PREDICTION: Broncos 41 Rams 24
12:00 pm #6 Michigan (-7, 41 1/2) at #24 Michigan State - The Wolverines absolutely thumped Wisconsin last week, 38-13, and are looking like one of the best teams not just in the Big 10, but in the country. Their biggest test comes late in November, when they play at Ohio State, but this is a big rivalry game. Michigan has rolled to six straight wins.
At 4-2, the Spartans have been up and down, and most recently lost to Northwestern, 29-19, and won at Penn State, 21-17. They are playing good football, but rivalry or not, the Wolverines are looking like the class of the conference and won't be slowed here.
Coin Flip: Michigan
PREDICTION: Wolverines 34 Spartans 14
With a bye last week, the Sooners have had time off to get over their 48-45 loss to Texas and should be ready to rock. Oklahoma is clicking for 48 points per game (#6 in the country), don't really play defense and shouldn't have to. TCU's last two games have been low-scoring, which means either the offense is sputtering or the defense is improving, or a little of both.
With two home losses already, it doesn't seem that the Horned Frogs can claim a field advantage and Oklahoma's offense is very dangerous.
Coin Flip: Oklahoma
PREDICTION: Sooners 42 Horned Frogs 24
The line, however, is just too large in favor of the Hawkeyes. Maryland continues to improve and they are likely to be in this one until the end.
Coin Flip: Iowa
PREDICTION: Terrapins 26 Hawkeyes 24
That's about to change. Temple is favored only because they are at home. The Bearcats simply have the best defense (13.7 ppg, #3) in the conference and should be able to lower the boom and keep the Owls grounded.
Coin Flip: Cincinnati
PREDICTION: Bearcats 28 Owls 13
Duke is 5-1 after whipping Georgia Tech last week, and their only loss was a 31-14 setback against Virginia Tech. Not much separating these teams and the points seem to be on the generous side for the visiting Cavaliers.
Coin Flip: Duke
PREDICTION: Cavaliers 23 Blue Devils 21

12:00 pm #9 Oklahoma (-8, 61) at TCU - At 3-3, the Horned Frogs have had a tough go of it, with losses to Ohio State, Texas and Texas Tech, but they've had extra time off to prepare for this important test and may be up to the task.
12:00 pm Maryland at #19 Iowa (-9, 47 1/2) - The only conference loss for the Terrapins was to Michigan (42-21) and the Hawkeyes are likewise 2-1 in Big Ten play with a 28-17 loss to Wisconsin. That makes this a meaningful game and both teams should be up for it.
12:00 pm #20 Cincinnati at Temple (-3 1/2, 48 1/2) - After an 0-2 start, the Owls have won for of five and are in a dogfight in the American Athletic Conference East division, as they and Cincinnati, UCF and South Florida are all unbeaten in conference play.
12:30 pm Virginia at Duke (-7, 45 1/2) - Coming off a 16-13 upset of Miami, the Cavaliers may be something of a surprise in the ACC.
