NFL Week 7 Picks - Late Games
NFL Week 7 Late Games
All times Eastern
4:05 pm New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens (-2 1/2, 49 1/2) - Cool match-up of two real playoff-bound types here, pitting the Ravens #1 defense (12.8 ppg) against the NFL's #1 scoring offense (36.0 ppg). How do you like your football? Crunchy? Take the Ravens. Steaming? New Orleans.
If anybody out there can provide a solid reason why one or the other should prevail, let us know, because we're stumped and taking the home team, giving less than a field goal.
Coin Flip: New Orleans
PREDICTION: Ravens 27 Saints 24
Dallas was equally impressive in their 40-7 slaughter of the Jaguars. Dad Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot have it going on, but notice their defense, second in points allowed at 17.2 per game. Have to like Dallas' chances on the road.
Coin Flip: Dallas
PREDICTION: Cowboys 27 Redskins 17
Coin Flip: LA Rams
PREDICTION: Rams 30 49ers 23
The Bengals can also play a little defense and that should come in handy.
Coin Flip: Cincinnati
PREDICTION: Chiefs 31 Bengals 27
8:15 pm New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons (-5 1/2, 54 1/2) - Well, the Giants, they can really stink up a joint. They're 1-5. Their season is essentially over, so one has to weigh the motivation factor, plus they have crybaby Odell Beckham who isn't a good influence (would you want your kids hanging out with this guy?).
Atlanta in a sleeper.
Coin Flip: Atlanta
PREDICTION: Falcons 35 Giants 21

Week 7 early Games
4:25 pm Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins (-1 1/2, 41 1/2) - Anybody care for first place in the NFC East? This one will determine that, at least for a week. The Redskins are coming off an impressive, 23-17, win over Carolina, and they get home field against their arch-nemesis.
4:25 pm Los Angeles Rams (-10, 52 1/2) at San Francisco 49ers - Divisional game with the home team getting more than seven points is an automatic in our book, covering almost 70% of the time, so we like the 'Niners.
8:20 pm Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs (-6, 58 1/2) - The MO for the Chiefs this season seems to be to just outrun and outscore everybody because they don't really play defense that well. That should be a problem, because the Bengals are solid and competitive and can score (29 ppg, 6th).
