7:30 pm #21 Mississippi State (-11, 58 1/2) at Ole Miss - Despite their 7-4 record, the Bulldogs are a very complete team with one of the best defenses in the country. They are #2, allowing 12.9 points per game.
The 5-6 Ole Miss Rebels are having a down season, and need a win here to reach a bowl game. It's not going to happen. The Rebels have lost four straight and are 1-6 in the SEC.
Coin Flip: Ole Miss
PREDICTION: Bulldogs 38 Rebels 13
12:00 pm #15 Texas (-14, 51) at Kansas - Kansas put a scare into Oklahoma last week, covering a huge 36-point line in a 55-40 loss as the Sooners pulled away late. At 3-8, the Jayhawks aren't going to a bowl game and a few are already playing hoops.
No matter what happens in the 8:00 game, the Longhorns will play in the conference championship, as Oklahoma plays West Virginia. Texas beat Oklahoma, so, all they need to do is win here and they're in. Should be a wicked beatdown.
Coin Flip: Texas
PREDICTION: Longhorns 41 Jayhawks 17
However, Virginia Tech is allowing 31.7 points per game, and, while the Cavaliers aren't exactly an offensive force, they're good enough to double up on the Hokies.
Coin Flip: Virginia Tech
PREDICTION: Cavaliers 34 Hokies 17
South Florida is 7-4 and while they are in the same conference as UCF, they're not of the same quality. At South Florida last season, UCF won, 49-42, but the Knights are even better this season.
Coin Flip: UCF
PREDICTION: Knights 44 Bulls 21
It's probably not even going to be a close call. Even though neither team can play much defense, the Sooners offense is vastly superior. Any breaks that go their way will be of immense benefit.
Coin Flip: Oklahoma
PREDICTION: Sooners 52 Mountaineers 37
At 8-3, the Huskies are a quality squad, but road losses to Oregon and Cal reveal possible homesickness. Washington's defense is solid, allowing just 16.6 points per game (10th), but they'll be hard-pressed to slow the Cougar offense, which puts up 40.5 points per outing (11th).
Coin Flip: Washington
PREDICTION: Cougars 34 Huskies 20
12:00 pm #4 Michigan (-4, 56 1/2) at #10 Ohio State - This is the Big One, the winner ostensibly heading to the national championship playoff.
The Wolverines haven't missed a beat since a 24-17 loss at Notre Dame in their season opener. The defense is outstanding, allowing 13.5 points per game (4th) and the offense, ranked 24, puts up 36.6 points per game. No doubt, they are the class of the Big Ten.
Ohio State has just one loss, like Michigan, but their recent wins have been struggles against second-rate squads. The Buckeyes struggled to a 36-31 win over Nebraska and last week's 52-51 OT win at Maryland was a missed two-point conversion from being a loss.
Michigan appears more disciplined and focused and should win by 10 points or more.
Coin Flip: Ohio State
PREDICTION: Wolverines 31 Buckeyes 17
The Bulldogs will have to play disciplined defense against the Yellow Jackets and their triple option offense. Tech has won four straight and a win over Georgia would be peachy, though unlikely. Still, they have enough quality to keep this close.
Coin Flip: Georgia Tech
PREDICTION: Bulldogs 30 Yellow Jackets 23
The 8-3 Gators don't appear capable of running away with this game. Their defense just isn't all there and the offense is prone to mistakes. Though they are 3-0 in road games this season, this heated rivalry is different.
Coin Flip: Florida State
PREDICTION: Seminoles 27 Gators 26
BC has lost two straight, to Clemson (27-7) and Florida State (22-21), but they don't give up many big plays, which Syracuse thrives upon. Whether SU has their regular starter or goes with backup Tommy DeVito may not matter. The Eagles' defense will be tough to crack though seven points is a bit much.
Coin Flip: Syracuse
PREDICTION: Eagles 27 Orange 23

3:30 pm Virginia (-3 1/2, 50) at Virginia Tech - The Holkies aren't going to a bowl game - they're 4-6, but the Cavaliers can make a bid for a better bowl placing with a win. Virginia isn't a great team and they're coming off a 30-27 OT loss at Georgia Tech.
4:15 pm #11 UCF (-14, 68) at South Florida - It looks like the Knights are going to win their 24th straight game and head to the American Athletic championship on December 1. UCF dismantled a very good Cincinnati defense last week en route to a 38-13 thumping.
8:00 pm #6 Oklahoma (-1 1/2, 84) at #9 West Virginia - The Mountaineers were rolling right along until they got hoodwinked at Oklahoma State, 45-41, both the offense and defense coming up empty in the second half. Lots of question marks on this 8-2 team as they hope to defeat the Sooners and play for the conference championship.
8:30 pm #18 Washington at #8 Washington State (-3, 49 1/2) - The winner of this in-state showdown heads to the PAC-12 championship game against Utah next week, and expectations are high for the Cougars, whose only loss was a flukey, late September, 39-36 defeat at USC. Since then, they've won seven straight, including the 69-28 pasting they put on Arizona last week.
Saturday, November 24
12:00 pm Georgia Tech at #5 Georgia (-17, 59 1/2) - Georgia will play Alabama next week in the SEC championship, but they can't slip up here in the traditional season-ending rivalry game.
12:00 pm #13 Florida (-5 1/2, 52) at Florida State - Florida State's 22-21 win over Boston College shows that the Seminoles have matured after three straight losses, to Clemson, NC State, and Notre Dame, in which they were dominated.
12:00 pm #12 Syracuse at #20 Boston College (-7, 57 1/2) - Orange QB, Eric Dungy, was knocked out of the game in Notre Dame's 36-3 pasting of Syracuse last week, and is questionable for the season finale. Dungy gives the Orange a better chance of winning on the road, but the BC defense is likely to be the big difference-maker.
