NCAA College Football Week 13 Picks - Late Games
NCAA Week 13 Late Games
All times Eastern
3:30 pm Auburn at #1 Alabama (-24, 52 1/2) - Of Auburn's four losses, the worst were at Mississippi State (23-9) and at Georgia (27-10), which indicates that they'll be ready for the annual Iron Bowl showdown.
While they're unlikely to beat 11-0 Alabama, the Tiger defense is one of the best the Crimson Tide will see this season. LSU and Mississippi State held Alabama to 29 and 24 points, respectively, but neither were able to score at all. Auburn is right there defensively, and a break here or there will be enough to keep the Tide on their toes.
Coin Flip: Auburn
PREDICTION: Crimson Tide 28 Tigers 17
Clemson has the #1 scoring defense in the country and is #5 offensively, putting up 44.7 per game. Blowout city.
Coin Flip: Clemson
PREDICTION: Tigers 45 Gamecocks 3
The 7-4 Aggies may not be among the elite SEC squads, but they're good enough to pull off the minor upset. They'll surely be motivated for a win at home to end the regular season.
Coin Flip: Texas A&M
PREDICTION: Aggies 27 Tigers 20
It would be just on a whim to take USC even if they were getting two TDs. Notre Dame continues to roll through opponents with relative ease and should deliver a message here.
Coin Flip: USC
PREDICTION: Fighting Irish 38 Trojans 20
The Aggies have the #2 scoring offense in the country, laying down 49.3 points per game. While Boise State is, to say the least, resilient, they're going to have issues containing Utah State, though this could easily become a shoot-out.
Coin Flip: Boise State
PREDICTION: Aggies 48 Broncos 41

Week 13 Early Games
7:00 pm South Carolina at #2 Clemson (-26, 58 1/2) - In its last six games, Clemson has allowed 49 points (8.2 per game),which is remarkable. If South Carolina even manages to score, it's doubtful that it will be enough to make this a competitive situation.
7:30 pm LSU (-2 1/2, 47 1/2) at Texas A&M - LSU has just two losses, at Florida (27-19) and 29-0 to Alabama. Their two road wins were an adventurous 22-21 win at Auburn and a 24-17 victory at Arkansas.
8:00 pm #3 Notre Dame (-10 1/2, 54) at USC - At 5-6, the Trojans need to upset the Irish in order to become bowl eligible, an unlikely outcome.
10:15 pm #23 Utah State at #25 Boise State (-2 1/2, 67 1/2) - The Mountain West conference doesn't get much respect, but this is a huge game, the winner going to the conference championship against Fresno State next week.
