NFL Week 12 Picks - Late Games
NFL Week 12 Late Games
All times Eastern
4:05 pm Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Chargers (-12, 45) - The Chargers are coming off an upset, 23-22, loss to Denver last week, but should be able to put that behind them as they host one of the worst teams in the league. The Chargers have a solid edge defensively and an enormous offensive advantage. Just on stats alone, this looks like a romp for LA.
Coin Flip: Arizona
PREDICTION: Chargers 34 Cardinals 14
Miami had a bye last week, but prior to that had lost three of their last four and five of seven. The lack of offense is making it tough on the defense and the losses are piling up, quickly putting the season in jeopardy. Though both teams are 5-5, they seem to be going in opposite directions.
Coin Flip: Indianapolis
PREDICTION: Colts 30 Dolphins 13
Denver upset the Chargers, 23-22, winning for just the second time in their last eight games. The Broncos have played seven games in which the final score was determined by seven points or less, and their three home losses were by 4, 3, and 2 points. The defense should be able to keep the Steelers somewhat under control and the offense is good enough to score on anybody. This is a trap game for Pittsburgh as it's their second straight away from home.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
PREDICTION: Broncos 23 Steelers 20
Green Bay is in jeopardy of missing the playoffs completely if they don't find a way to win this critical road contest. At 4-5-1, they have plenty of competition for the two wild card spots. These two played to a 29-all draw in week two, so there's plenty of unfinished business. Minnesota looks better prepared to find a winning formula.
Coin Flip: Minnesota
PREDICTION: Vikings 27 Packers 22
8:15 pm Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (-4, 41 1/2) - No line here due to a minor injury to Titan QB, Macus Mariota, though he is expected to be available. Will update as conditions become more clear.
UPDATE: Mariota will start for Tennessee, and the Titans are looking for a win after backup Blaine Gabbert struggled in a 38-10 loss to the Colts last week. Mariota, however, led the Titans to two wins - over Dallas and New England - prior to that.
Houston will be playing with emotion as owner Bob McNair died Friday night. They are looking for their eighth straight win after opening with an 0-3 start. Houston has been tough as nails and should come up winners at home.
Coin Flip: Houston
PREDICTION: Texans 28 Titans 20

Week 12 Early Games
4:25 pm Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts (-10, 50 1/2) - Rolling to their fourth straight win with a 38-10 rout of Tennessee, the Colts are in position to challenge the Texans down the stretch in the AFC South. Indy's defense is tightening up, while the offense has improved to #5 in points scored, at 29.8 per game.
4:25 pm Pittsburgh Steelers (-3, 46 1/2) at Denver Broncos - With their comeback, 20-16, win at Jacksonville last week, the Steelers have won six straight and are in complete control of the AFC North with a 7-2-1 record.
8:20 pm Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings (-3, 48) - Minnesota's showing against the Bears on Monday night was not very good, though they did manage to stay in the game, eventually losing, 25-20. The Vikings are very well balanced and their defense can be rock solid under the right conditions.
Monday November 26
Bye: Kansas City, Los Angeles
