Week 11 Results: Rick: 8-7; Coin: 6-9
Bye: Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs
Chicago Bears (-3, 41 1/2) at Detroit Lions 12:30 pm - Real fans may want to skip this joke of a game and help out around he house. These are two of the lowest-scoring offenses i the league. Only Houston and Jacksonville are worse. The good news for Bears fans is that their defense is a little better than Detroit's.
Coin Flip: Chicago
Prediction: Bears 22 Lions 14
Dallas has a nice edge over the rest of the NFC East and appears playoff-bound. The receiving corps is a little banged up, which may benefit Vegas defenders who can key on the run. Dallas should prevail but not by much.
Coin Flip: Las Vegas
Prediction: Cowboys 27 Raiders 23
New Orleans is still poking around to find a suitably healthy offense, now with both Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram questionable, they may have to depend on back-ups in the run offense. The defense is still pretty good, but so is Buffalo's. Looking for a low score here.
Coin Flip: Buffalo
Prediction: Buffalo 17 Saints 16
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-4, 45) 1:00 pm - Pittsburgh really needs this game to keep pace with the Ravens and Bengals. Cleveland also in the mix. Ben Roethlisberger is questionable as of Thursday, and is banged up. At least with Joe Burrow and the Bengals, you get a younger, more mobile QB with a team on the upswing.
Steelers are coming off a 41-37 loss to the Chargers, while the Bengals spent last Sunday hanging a 32-13 loss on the Raiders in Las Vegas.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
Prediction: Bengals 31 Steelers 23
Jets come off 24-17 loss to Miami, now must hit the road with Joe Flacco calling plays. Not much to like about the New York squad.
Coin Flip: Houston
Prediction: Texans 27 Jets 17
Indy is red hot and likely to win this going away.
Coin Flip: Tampa Bay
Prediction: Colts 38 Buccaneers 23
Jacksonville may not have the best defense in the league - far from it - but they did manage to hold Buffalo to six points a few weeks back and are beginning to build for the future. This is a game they can win.
Coin Flip: Jacksonville
Prediction: Jaguars 30 Falcons 20
Miami is coming off three straight wins and, at 4-7, may still be thinking about the playoffs in this 17-game season. They seldom get blown out and may win this one by a couple of scores.
Coin Flip: Carolina
Prediction: Dolphins 31 Panthers 17
After a 2-4 start, the Patriots have rolled up five straight victories and have allowed just 13 points in their last three games. This one could get ugly as the Titans have no backup for Ryan Tannehill other than undrafted rookie Kevin Hogan from Stanford.
Coin Flip: New England
Prediction: Patriots 34 Titans 10
The Eagles have won three of their last four, culminating in their 40-29 win over the Saints last week. Philly is looking an a two-week Big Apple excursion against the Giants and Jets as a ticket to a 7-6 record and a bye week.
Coin Flip: NY Giants
Prediction: Eagles 28 Giants 16

Thursday, November 25
Las Vegas Raiders at Dallas Cowboys (-7, 50 1/2) 4:30 pm - Losers of three straight, the Raiders have lost their mojo and their head coach. That reality is beginning to sink in, and Las Vegas isn't playing to solid standards. Their run game is non-existent and the defense has fallen apart, allowing 96 points in those three straight losses.
Buffalo Bills (-6 1/2, 45 1/2) at New Orleans Saints 8:20 pm - Buffalo needs to find a running back in a hurry. They cannot depend on Josh Allen to win every game single-handedly. The Bills now trail New England by 1/2 game in the AFC East and their last two wins have been over Miami and the Jets.
Sunday, November 28
NY Jets at Houston Texans (-2 1/2, 44 1/2) 1:00 pm - With Tyrod Taylor running the offense, the Texans are at least competitive again, witness their 22-13 upset at Tennessee for their second win of the season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3, 53) at Indianapolis Colts 1:00 pm - Tampa Bay comes off a 30-10 Monday night home win over the Giants in which they blanked the visitors for all of the second half. This one is going to be a little tougher, as the Colts are emerging as a force in the AFC with their third straight win, a major belting of the Bills in Buffalo, 41-15.
Atlanta Falcons (-1, 46 1/2) at Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 pm - Impossible to like the Falcons as a road favorite after they've scored all of three points in their last two games - losses at Dallas and vs. New England.
Carolina Panthers (-2, 42) at Miami Dolphins 1:00 pm - Cam is again the man in Carolina, as Newton readjusting to life in Charlotte. Panthers are dangerous with Christian McCaffrey and Chuba Hubbard in the backfield, but the Dolphins defend the run well.
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-6 1.2, 44 12) 1:00 pm - Tennessee is really up against the wall without Derrick Henry and Julio Jones, plus other injuries. They're as tough a team as can be found in the NFL, but New England has bought in fully to Belichick belief and are rolling toward the playoffs, now with a leg up on the Bills in the AFC East.
Philadelphia Eagles (-3 1/2, 46) at NY Giants 1:00 pm - Once again, the Giants are in turmoil after an ugly 30-10 loss at Tampa Bay last week which resulted in the firing of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. That puts them up against a wall as division rival Philly comes to town.
