Cleveland Browns at LA Chargers (-1 1/2, 48 1/2) 4:05 pm - Both teams are playing extremely well, as the Browns won their third straight with a mighty defensive effort in a 14-7 win over Minnesota.
Other than a 20-17 loss to Dallas, the Chargers are perfect, having dispatched the Raiders, handing them their first loss, 28-14, and joining a three-way tie for control of the AFC West with a 3-1 mark along with Denver and the Raiders. This one could literally go either way, so we'll side with the coin and take the Browns.
Coin Flip: Cleveland
Prediction: Browns 24 Chargers 21
The Raiders will be happy to be back in Vegas after their 28-14 loss at San Diego. Down 21-0 at the half, they rallied for two TDs, but could not overcome the early deficit. They'll fare better here, but look for Chicago to be all out for the upset.
Coin Flip: Chicago
Prediction: Bears 19 Raiders 16
With San Francisco losing to the Seahawks, 28-21, the Cards are all alone in first place in the division. They 49ers may be without QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who has a bruised calf. Trey Lance finished up against the Seahawks and may get the start.
No matter who goes for SF, the Cardinals are taking no prisoners. Kyler Murray is having an MVP season, completing 76% of his passes for 1,273 yards, 9 TDs and 4 picks, plus 109 yards and 3 TDs rushing.
Coin Flip: Arizona
Prediction: Cardinals 31 49ers 21
So far, Dallas looks like the class of the NFC East, but the Giants have some experience against them and are improving. Should be an entertaining game throughout.
Coin Flip: Dallas
Prediction: Cowboys 29 Giants 26
Kansas City took care of business last week at Philly, dumping the Eagles, 42-30, but their defense doesn't appear to have an edge. In fact, the Chiefs, who are last in their division, are 31st in points allowed, at 31.3 per game. Buffalo is first, at 11 per game. Advantage Buffalo.
Coin Flip: Kansas City
Prediction: Bills 34 Chiefs 27
Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens (-7, 46) 8:15 pm - The Colts looked great handling Miami, 27-17, on the road last week, but this is their third straight road game and behind center for the Ravens will be Lamar Jackson, a better version of Miami's Jacoby Brissett.
Indy's win at Miami was just their first of the season. Baltimore is 3-1 and in a three-way tie for the top spot in the AFC North with Cleveland and Cincinnati. Hard to see them losing this one.
Coin Flip: Indianapolis
Prediction: Ravens 30 Colts 17

Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders (-5 1/2, 44 1/2) 4:05 pm - Justin Fields will continue to improve this season and the Bears' defense just might get caught up in his enthusiasm. At 2-2, they're very much in the hunt in the NFC North after downing the Lions last week, 24-14.
San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals (-5 1/2, 50) 4:25 pm - The Cardinals are the only unbeaten team remaining in the league after Carolina, Denver, La Rams, and Raiders all tasted defeat. The Cardinals upended the Rams, 37-20, in a game that was essentially over after three quarters as Arizona built a 21-point lead.
NY Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-7, 52) 4:25 pm - After being pasted, 27-13, by Denver week one, the Giants have been competitive in losses to Washington (30-29), Atlanta (17-14) and in last week's win over New Orleans (27-21, OT). That said, everything is clicking in Dallas, with Dak Prescott back at full strength and Ezekiel Elliott running with abandon. Elliott rushed for 134 yards in the Cowboys 36-28 win over Carolina last week.
Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs 8:20 pm (-2 1/2, 56 1/2) - we last saw these two on the field together in the 2020 AFC Championship, a game won by the Chiefs, 38-24, but the Bills played valiantly throughout. The bills are 3-1 after their second shutout of the season, a 40-0 win over Houston. They topped Miami, 35-0, two weeks ago.
