Denver may have one of the better defenses in the league, while the Chargers need work on that side of the ball, as evidenced by Monday night's 41-37 win over the Steelers, which never should have been that close.
Coin Flip: Denver
Prediction: Broncos 33 Chargers 30
The Rams are 7-3, right behind the 9-2 Cardinals in the West, and are looking to rebound from back-to-back losses to the Titans and 49ers prior to last week's bye. Matthew Stafford gets a little edge for knowing the Packer tendencies from his Lions days, but Green Bay is unbeaten at home and will likely remain that way unless kicker Mason Crosby lets them down again.
Coin Flip: Green Bay
Prediction: Packers 27 Rams 23
Winners of three of their last four, the 49ers stunned the Rams, 31-10, and smothered Jacksonville, 30-10, the past two weeks and are now 5-5. If this comes down to place kickers give the 49ers an edge with Robbie Gould over Greg Joseph.
Coin Flip: San Francisco
Prediction: 49ers 26 Vikings 20
The Browns have a host of injuries on offense, including Baker Mayfield, listed as questionable, but a very likely starter. The Browns can stay in this one with solid defense and Nick Chubb grinding out yards, but close may not be good enough longer term
Coin Flip: Cleveland
Prediction: Ravens 24 Browns 23
Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team (-1, 46 1/2), 8:15 pm - If you're football-ed out after four days of gridiron action, you can be dismissed from watching the 4-6 Football Team hosting the 3-7 Seahawks because neither team is likely to make the playoffs and there will be more interesting water cooler discussions available Tuesday. It's OK if you fall asleep watching this one even if it has an exciting finish.
Coin Flip: Seattle
Prediction: Seahawks 23 Football Team 20

LA Chargers (-2 1/2, 48) at Denver Broncos 4:05 pm - Broncos are 5-5, chargers, 6-4, so this becomes a toss-up in the race to catch up to division leader Kansas City (good luck). This is the first meeting this season for the AFC West rivals after splitting last year's games by very close margins, so the points may be essential here, and, with Denver getting them at home, looks like a viable option.
LA Rams at Green Bay Packers (even, 48) 4:25 pm - That 34-31 setback at Minnesota was a tough loss for the Packers, but they still hold a 2 1/2 game lead over the Vikings, the only pursuer in the NFC North.
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers (-3, 48) 4:25 pm - The Vikings showed they have everything needed to get to the playoffs in last week's 34-31 win over the Packers, but can they do it on the road, where they are 2-3?
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-3 1/2, 45 1/2) 8:20 pm - Talk about a must-win, this is it for Cleveland. A Ravens victory would have Baltimore at 8-3 in the division, with Cleveland, 6-6, with a bye next week and hosting the Ravens the week after that.
