All times Eastern
Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos (-1 1/2, 43 1/2) 4:05 pm - Following an emotional, 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers, Cincinnati is up against the playoff wall, in desperate need of a win. Unfortunately for them, they have to travel to Denver, where the Broncos got to 7-6 with last week's collaring of the Lions, 38-10.
The Bengals dropped two straight home games and are just 2-4 their last six. The onus is clearly on the defense, which has been spotty. Denver isn't a world-beater, so give the Bengals a nod in a tight spot.
Coin Flip: Cincinnati
Prediction: Bengals 24 Broncos 21
Atlanta's defense leaves much to be desired, though they are 5-2 on the road. The 49ers are streaking, which bodes ill for the Falcons.
Coin Flip: San Francisco
Prediction: 49ers 38 Falcons 19
Even if Jackson plays, he may not be his usual self and he's a huge part of the offense. Meanwhile, the Packers can wrap up the NFC North with a win or a Minnesota loss. Tough spot for the Ravens, despite home field.
Coin Flip: Green Bay
Prediction: Packers 34 Ravens 23
Tampa Bay has the master, Tom Brady, but this is a divisional contest and the line in generous for the Saints. Tampa won the first meeting, 36-27, after which the Saints lost five in a row before topping the Jets. The Bucs should win, but maybe by a little less than expected.
Coin Flip: New Orleans
Prediction: Buccaneers 34 Saints 28
Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns (-3, 40) 5:00 pm - The Raiders are fading while the Browns are sprinting toward the playoffs after Cleveland held on for a 24-22 win over the Ravens and Las Vegas was humiliated by the Chiefs, 48-9.
Mixed signals from the Browns, as they haven't won two straight since winning three straight in weeks 2-4. The Raiders, however, have lost two straight and five of their last six. At 6-7, they are barely clinging to playoff hope, while the Browns have a solid chance of winning their division.
Coin Flip: Las Vegas
Prediction: Browns 27 Raiders 20
Minnesota held on for a win over the Steelers last Thursday and has extended rest coming into this important road contest. They should be almost fully healthy (Dalvin Cook's shoulder getting better each week) and capable of handling whatever the Bears throw at them, especially defensively. Chicago got ripped by Green Bay Sunday night and hasn't lived up to its reputation, partially the fault of an offense that can't sustain drives.
Minnesota has everything in place to run the table into the playoffs.
Coin Flip: Minnesota
Prediction: Vikings 35 Bears 24
Seattle Seahawks at LA Rams (-7, 47) 7:00 pm (FOX) - The Seahawks aren't done just yet, but they're probably going to take on the role of spoiler for the rest of this season. Meanwhile, the West division of the NFC is still owned by Arizona and the Rams, who are a game behind the Cardinals even after their Monday night victory.
Seattle dropped their home half of this divisional match-up, losing to the Rams, 26-17, back in week five. Expect the Rams to amp up the defense while the offense takes care of business.. This could get ugly, early.
Coin Flip: LA Rams
Prediction: Rams 40 Seahawks 17
The Eagles share the same 6-7 mark as Washington. Dallas holds a three-game edge over both and is unlikely to be caught. These two meet again in two weeks. The Eagles have won three of their last four. Washington snapped a four-game win streak with their loss to Dallas. Looks like a squeaker.
Coin Flip: Washington
Prediction: Eagles 22 Football Team 20

Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers (-9, 46) 4:05 pm - The Falcons continue to amaze, making plays at key moments in their games, improving to 6-7 with last week's 29-21 road win over division rival Carolina. They'e in the playoff hunt as one of five 6-7 NFC squads, as are the 7-6 49ers, left for dead just five weeks ago when they were 3-5. Since then San Fran has won four of five.
Green Bay Packers (-4 1/2, 43 1/2) at Baltimore Ravens 4:25 pm - Ravens suddenly find themselves on the ropes after losing to Cleveland, 24-22, and possibly losing Lamar Jackson for this game (low ankle sprain).
Seattle Seahawks at LA Rams (-7, 47) 4:25 pm - Moved to Tuesday, December 21, 7:00 pm.
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11, 46 1/2) 8:20 pm - Tampa Bay is perfect (7-0) at home after dominating, then giving up a big lead, to the Bills last week, eventually winning in overtime, 33-27. New Orleans isn't exactly going to roll over, after their offense found its legs in their 30-9 win over the Jets in New York. That's not saying much as the Jets have one of the more miserable defense in the league.
Monday, December 20
Minnesota Vikings (-3 1/2, 44) at Chicago Bears 8:15 pm - The Bears get a little better every week as rookie QB, Justin Fields, gets used to the speed of the NFL, but it's too little, too late.
Tuesday, December 21
Washington Football Team at Philadelphia Eagles (-4 1/2, 44) 1:00 pm - Eagles had the week off while Washington was being dismantled by the visiting Cowboys, 27-20. Washington made it close in the second half, scoring three TDs, but they were unable to mount much offense in the first half and late in the game.
